Dare to dream
"Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts".
-Albert Einstein
So what I failed? So what I didn't turn out good enough at the job that I went to college for? So what life is not turning out to be as fancy and easy as I'd like it to be?
If this is really bothering you, then you definitely got high expectations of yourself. You either went to the wrong area of study and followed your parents advice then you got this itchy feeling of regret. Or you had a misconception of big dreams and believed that to be successful is to fit the standards of your society. Either ways, it could be a long list of good excuses that put you where you are and got you feeling restless and unhappy.
You got a dream or you don't, you just feel out of place but that's somewhere to start from.
If you don't have a dream then look for one. Dig in and go through a torturing self discovery journey that's outside your comfort zone. Embrace all the uneasiness and bitterness you feel and use it to push your limits. Become a "Yes Man". Know that you are the only one who places the boundaries, then know that there are no boundaries.
Let me get this straight. Big dreams could be the big bucks with the fancy car and luxuries house. Big dreams could also be doing something you're daydreaming like a small boutique and a Vespa that you only need to go to work and buy your groceries.
Drop all the materialistic tangibles away, then see or yourself the actual value of your dream. Drop all the extrinsics and focus on what the intrinsics that may tingle your soul. And never underestimate your dreams and most of all your own self.
